Dear Valeo Family,

I'm very pleased to announce that Cameron Omsberg and Anthony Rougier will join Valeo FC for the 2019-2020 season.

Cameron will start with us July 2019 in the College Recruit Liaison role. Anthony will join us in a Head Coach and Age Group Coordinator capacity; he starts in August 2019.

As our College Recruit Liaison, Cameron's responsibilities will include performing professional duties directed towards guiding player engagement in outreach development with college coaches through our college platform known as Sports Recruits. Cameron will also assist with the arrangement of college coaches to attend home and select away games/events. Schedule meetings/audit athletes outreach, offer support and assist athletes in evaluating ID Camps. In short, acting in the capacity as a mentor for our athletes in the utmost professional manner and conducting practice sessions with our high school age players.

Both Cameron and Anthony come to us with more than 45 years of combined experience. Anthony is a highly experienced football coach and former professional player with a career spanning more than 25 years. Anthony has successfully made the transition into coaching, management, and club operations through a consistent focus on long term player and team development. He is a former national team captain with Trinidad & Tobago and a promotion winner in both England and Scotland. Anthony presently holds a UEFA A license.

Cameron entered his fourth season as the assistant coach and recruiting coordinator of the Northeastern men's soccer team in 2019, having arrived at Northeastern University in February 2016. He joined the Northeastern University coaching staff after serving as the top assistant coach at Bates College for three seasons. Cameron holds multiple coaching licenses, including United Soccer Coaches (formerly NSCAA) National, Advanced, and Premier diplomas, as well as United States Soccer Federation (USSF) C, D, and E licenses.

Please join me in extending a heartfelt welcome to Cameron and Anthony as they begin their journey with us at Valeo FC.
