Pirner, Edwards, Bartolino, Serig & Little Invited to New England Top 100

Newton, Ma. : Lydia, Maddie, Mira, Sofia and Kaylee invited to New England Top 100 College Showcase.


Five players from the Valeo FC girls program received an exclusive invite to attend the New England Top 100 College Showcase. Each player was evaluated based on the four components of player development (Technical, Tactical, Physical and Psychological). The selected players with the highest rankings were exclusively invited to the New England Top 100 College Showcase.


Lydia Pirner (Valeo FC Flash ’04), Maddie Edwards (Valeo FC Flash ’04), Kaylee Little (Valeo FC Flash ’04), Mira Bartolino (Valeo FC Courage ’04/’03) and Sofia Serig (Valeo FC Dash '03/'02) were identified and ranked among the top players during the evaluation process and received exclusive invites from Alison Foley.


All five players have been part of Valeo for a 3 + years now. Lydia, Sofia and Kaylee joined Valeo FC during its inception as U11 / U12 players. Both Mira and Maddie have been part of the Valeo community for three years. There is no secret to their continued success and recognition as young female soccer players. They are all highly motivated, passionate and extremely invested in their growth as soccer players.


When it comes to women’s and girls’ soccer, Alison Foley brings a tremendous amount of experience and knowledge to the forefront of the game. Alison’s resume includes: former Boston College Women’s Soccer coach (‘97-‘18), Angelo State women’s head coach (96’-97’) 15 appearances to the NCAA Tournament and much more. Alison is also the co-author of “How to Coach Girl’s” as well as the founder and instructor of “Soccer on the Mat”.  


The New England Top 100 College Showcase is an invite only girls’ soccer showcase that will be made up of the highest identified players in the region. The showcase will be hosted at Brandies University from June 8th – June 9th. In attendance will be some of the competitive and highly recognizable national and regional programs in women’s soccer. Including the 2018 College cup Final Four Schools (UCLA, UNC, Georgetown and Florida State) as well as US Women’s National Team Scouts.
