Valeo FC Announces New Boy’s Director

Valeo Players and Parents,

We are excited to introduce Jake Beverlin as the new Boy’s Director for Valeo FC! Jake brings several years of elite coaching experience to the boy’s side.  Currently, Jake is the U.S. Soccer Development Academy Director here at Valeo FC.  In addition to his role here at Valeo FC he serves as the head coach at UMass Boston where he has transformed their program into one of top teams in the nation leading them to three consecutive Little East Conference Championships.

Prior to being appointed the coach at UMass Boston Jake served on the staff at Division I Boston University for two seasons and helped the program to two America East Conference titles.  Jake, also served as the assistant men’s soccer coach at Bunker Hill Community College helping them to a combined record of 36-4-3 over his final two seasons while being ranked 2nd overall in the NJCAA in 2012 and a combined 3 regional championships, four state championships, and one national final 4. Furthermore, Jake also served as the assistant coach for the Boston Breakers in 2012 helping the squad to a WPSL regular season championship.  

Aside from his collegiate and professional success, Jake currently holds USSF “A” License and the NSCAA Premier Diploma.  Jake, graduated from San Francisco State University with a bachelor’s degree in Political Science and then graduated from SNHU with a Masters degree in Sport Management.  Beverlin played collegiately for Cosumnes River Junior College in Sacramento, CA helping them to two top ten national rankings in two seasons before transferring to San Francisco State University where he played his final two seasons. Beverlin, also played for the NH Phantoms once moving to NE for a number of years. His role as Boy’s Director will help improve the overall quality and development of the organization as a whole, and we are looking forward to a great success under his direction.
